A. Situation:

Main Task

You are going to compose a poem dedicated to frontliners. Practice delivering this poem as a spoken poetry. Let us then put you in an imagined spotlight where you are chosen to represent the school to deliver a poignant tribute to all the frontliners, your chosen audience, that will inspire them to continue serving us amid the uncertainties and threats of Covid-19. The following must be noted before you set out with this task:

  • Only ONE POEM should be composed for all your subjects, following the mechanics provided by your respective teachers.
  • This will be video- recorded while you deliver (because you have to imagine to be delivering this in front of an audience). The video should at least last for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • The type of frontliners to whom you will dedicate your poem will change according to your strand: (Please see reference below)
STEM:

Alternative Task/s

In case you do not have the gadget or smart phones (internet- ready phones), to video- record yourself while delivering your spoken poetry, you may do the following alternatives (as specified also by each subject teacher):
  • Alternative 1. Provide printed/handwritten copy of your poem to the teachers who requested a copy.
  • Alternative 2. Borrow your sibling’s or friend’s phone, record yourself, and save your file in a flash drive/CD format to be submitted during distribution/ retrieval time for your modules (this will not require internet data).
  • Alternative 3. Personally, deliver your spoken poetry during the retrieval/distribution of your modules (for subject Oral Communication in Context and other subjects who may request). Applicable for extreme case only where the learner’s situation does not conform to option no. 2. Subject teachers may sit together, following strictly the health protocols for a one-time delivery of the learner.

1.   Memorize or read your content after you have composed it as instructed by your:

 a.1: teachers in 21st Century Literature from the Philippines and the World, Introduction to World Religion and Beliefs System, and Disciplines and Ideas in the Social Sciences, and Komunikasyon at Pananaliksik.

B. For TVL

b.1: Teacher in KOMUNIKASYON AT PANANALIKSIK SA KULTURA AT WIKANG FILIPINO

2.   Do mirror practice when delivering your content. You may also ask a friend to give you immediate feedback after watching you practice.

3.   When you think you are already ready to record your content delivery, dress appropriately according to what your content asks/ context of your poem.

4.   When you record, please observe the following:

5.   Refer to the rubrics given below on how you will be given points for your Oral Communication Subject so that you will be guided accordingly.


In light of the DATA PRIVACY ACT, students must not upload the video in any public platform to avoid violation of privacy and instances of cyber bullying.

21st Century Literature

1.   Compose a poem based on the story of a frontliner. The poem should consist of 7 quatrains with rhyme scheme.

Observe the following:

·  Use concrete imagery

·  Figures of speech

2.   Focus on the description of COVID-19 pandemic faced by the frontliners in the 1ststanza

3.   Focus on the measures to preserve life done by the frontliners in the 2nd and 3rd stanzas

4.   Focus on the values displayed by the frontliners during the pandemic in the 4tth and 5th stanzas

5.   Praise the frontliners on the 6th stanza

6.   Then state your role as a student in helping the frontliners on 7th stanza (Conclusive lines of advocacy how you can help in your own way to help them preserve life.)

7.   Use the Filipino language.

8.   Video record your spoken poetry.

9.   The video duration is 2 to 3 minutes.

o Alternative 1. Provide printed/handwritten copy of your poem.

o  Alternative 3. Personally, deliver your spoken poetry during the retrieval/distribution of your modules (for subject Oral Communication in Context and other subjects who may request). Komunikasyon

1. Lumikha ng isang tulang malaya na pumapaksa sa kabayanihan ng mga frontliners laban sa pandemyang COVID 19 na kasalukuyan kinakaharap natin gamit ang mga angkop na salita upang mapag-ugnay-ugnay ang mga ideya.

2. Bigkasin ang tula at irekord ito gamit ang iyong smartphone.

3. Tandaang gamitin ang mga angkop na salita para sa tipo/ klase ng frontliners na iyong pinag-aalayan ng nilikhang pasalitang panulaan (spoken poetry)

4. Ang bidyo na ginawa ay magtatagal ng 2 hanggang 3 minuto.

Introduction to World Religions and Belief Systems

1. Compose a poem that exhibits the Confucian virtues possessed by the frontliners.

2.Focus on the values displayed by the frontliners during the pandemic in the 4th and 5th stanzas

3.The poem will be delivered in a two to three -minute video format.

1.Write poem depicting COVID 19 as a worldwide phenomenon

2. The poem’s content must be dominated by concepts on how multidisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary approaches of frontliners in helping people to mitigate the pandemic’s effects to their lives.

3. Apply the intersections of the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches in understanding the COVID 19.

4.Record yourself delivering the poem in a short video format with two to three minutes duration

o Alternative 3. Personally, deliver your spoken poetry during the retrieval/distribution of your modules Applicable for extreme case only where the learner’s situation does not conform to option no. 2. Business Mathematics

1.   Before composing your poem for your 21st Century Literature for frontliners, please bear in mind the following to be incorporated in your poem.

·       The frontliners you will pay tribute to be will be business owners, salesladies, online sellers, food delivery crews, and all other people who own or work from different business establishments which deliver essentials during this pandemic.

·       Please try to add data presented in textual form to show the business situation and establish support for your solution.

·       Explain specific solution/s you will offer to real-life business situations, in a poetic manner, especially now that businesses are battered hard by recurrent lockdowns.

2.     Video- record yourself while delivering your spoken poetry. (2 to 3 minutes).

o Alternative 1. Provide printed/handwritten copy of your poem.

 

Organization and Management

1.Identify different careers who serve as frontliners also who are engaged in businesses that cater to the essential needs of the people during this pandemic.

·     After identifying you may start composing your poem dedicated to them.

·     You then incorporate the aspect of the career you identified as possible source of your inspiration for you to take on the same career path.

·     Kindly include the role of Human Resource (HR) Management in your poem as critical management team especially now that many are being retrenched from their job. To be more specific, state the role and nature of their job as HR team, which will include also the role of HR in assigning staff, scheduling etc.

2.     Video- record yourself while delivering your spoken poetry. (2 to 3 minutes).

 

o Alternative 1. Provide printed/handwritten copy of your poem.

 

Earth and Life Science

1. Compose a poem that promotes social change with the theme “Lining Up to the Front: A Tribute to the Front-liners.” (teacher, nurse, doctor, etc.)

2. In your poem, elucidate how a front-liner carry out his/her functions to preserve or value life.

3. Provide your teacher a copy of your poem in any of the following format: printed (encoded), handwritten, or digital (video format).

o Alternative 1. Provide printed/handwritten copy of your poem.

 

Etech

1. Post a copy of your output (required by Komunikasyon, etc.) your Facebook Page. The output should be in text or JPEG format.

2. Share your project in your Facebook page using #EtechISNHS and #G11Thematic.

3. Promote your project for maximum audience impact.

4. After one week of posting. Check your Facebook Page and analyze the effectiveness of your posts by answering the following questions:

1. How can you get more visitors to your Facebook Page?

 

2. Which day and time does your page have more visitors?

 

3. When is the best time to post on Facebook Page?

 

4. Who are your audience composed of? What are their age range, location and gender?

 

5. How many likes has your page gotten so far?

 

 Write your answers on a separate sheet of paper.

 

1.   The poem will be uploaded as print-ready PDFs or JPEG in Google Drive and embedded in a website.

 

 

General Mathematics

1. Compose a poem that promotes social change with the theme “Lining Up to the Front: A Tribute to the Frontliners”.

2.The reflection should revolve in building healthy relationship and responsible individuals.

3. Incorporate in your poem a categorical syllogism with valid argument in standard form.

4. Provide a text copy of your poem in any format (hand written, printed, or digital).

o Alternative 1. Provide printed/handwritten/digital copy of your poem.

 

Physical Education

1.     The last quatrain (7th Stanza) is allotted for your advocacy as a student by joining any organization in the fight of this Covid-19 Pandemic, so:

Ø  state your role as a student in helping the frontliners on as your conclusive lines of advocacy to help them fight this pandemic)

 2.     The poem delivery is to be recorded in a 2- to 3-minute video format. In case that gadget/s is a problem to you, you may submit your output for this subject in handwritten form using a yellow paper.
