Theme;
Lining Up to the Front: A Tribute to the Frontliners
Main Task:
You are going to compose a poem dedicated to frontliners. Practice delivering this poem as a spoken poetry. Let us then put you in an imagined spotlight where you are chosen to represent the school to deliver a poignant tribute to all the frontliners, your chosen audience, that will inspire them to continue serving us amid the uncertainties and threats of Covid-19. The following must be noted before you set out with this task:
- Only ONE POEM should be composed for all your subjects, following the mechanics provided by your respective teachers.
- This will be video- recorded while you deliver (because you have to imagine to be delivering this in front of an audience). The video should at least last for 2 to 3 minutes.
- The type of frontliners to whom you will dedicate your poem will change according to your strand:
- STEM: medical practitioners and all allied health professions, and engineers
- ABM: business allied professions
- HUMSS: teachers, policemen, lawyers and all social sciences allied professions
