Becoming a teacher isn’t that easy as we expect. There is still the challenges that we have to overcome. Like others there is one teacher that we admire because of his own story on how become that successful. And that teacher is no other than Mr. Joe P. Del Castillo, and here’s his story
Mr. Del Catillo is son of Mr. Filemon Del Castillo who is a farmer and his mother is Mrs. Helen Del Castillo a head teacher. He is the second among the 3 children. When he was in elementary, he studied at Ora West Elementary School. He studied at Ilocos Sur National High School when he was a high school student and in his college journey he studied at University of Northern Philippines and tooked up Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and graduated in the year 2014.
In the year 2014 after his graduation, he worked at JTC Mall as his part time job while he’s waiting for the respond of the school where he applied. A year after, he work at St. Williams Institute as a teacher in the year 2015 to 2016 . Then he transferred at Macro College in the year 2016 to 2017.And now, he is working here at Ilocos Sur National High School as one of the best Physical Education teacher that we’ve met.
At the age of 25 he settled down with his long time girlfriend and now his lovely wife who is Mrs. Princess Jennie Del Castillo who happened to be a science teacher of junior high school in the same school, afterwards an angel came to their lives and they named Althea Del Castillo.
All of us have to defeat our challenges in life so that we could achieve our goals in life. And this challenges can either make you bad or better person in the future. Luckily Mr. Del Castillo passed his challenges and those challenges made him a good person. He also learned a lot of lessons because of those. But it is not the end. Now, that he has his own family, it is more difficult for him but we know that he will overcome those because of his experience.
